There are many reasons for their success but a large part is down to a digital strategy that emphasizes crowdsourcing of information and open data projects to keep people informed. Wired magazine published an excellent article about Tang last year that delves into how Taiwan's unlikely digital minister is handling the pandemic. Tang will be one of the keynote speakers at this year’s Global Summit, taking place on March 11, 2019. It is Creative Commons’ annual event that brings together leading activists, artists, technology experts, educators, lawyers, librarians, and others to advance the growth of Creative Commons. .
